The Altamonte Springs Rotary Club is part of a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders founded in 1905 committed to providing humanitarian service, high ethical standards in business, and creating global goodwill.
Since 1978, members of the Altamonte Springs Rotary Club have dedicated themselves to those goals and give of their time to make our community a better place to live and work. In our effort to live up to the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self”, Club members actively participate in numerous community service and fund-raising projects throughout the year that benefit local charitable organizations and schools.
The Club has funded international projects such as the installation of clean water facilities in impoverished villages in India. But perhaps most importantly, the Club has also contributed to the hundreds of millions of dollars that Rotary clubs all over the globe have raised in its long-term goal to permanently eradicate the disease of Polio.
